No Mow May 2025

No Mow May 2025

Your Garden Can Help Save the Bees!

This May, put the mower away and let nature take the lead. #NoMowMay is a simple, powerful way to help pollinators like bees and butterflies as they wake up and search for food.
We get it—when the sun’s out, that mower calls. But even leaving a small patch of lawn to grow wild gives pollinators a much-needed lifeline. So make yourself a cuppa, kick back, and watch the wildflowers (and wildlife) bloom.

Why It Matters

Since the 1930s, the UK has lost 97% of its flower-rich meadows. That’s bad news for bees. But with over 20 million gardens across the country, we can reverse the trend—one unmown lawn at a time.
No space is too small. Even a tiny patch of wild grass can become a buzzing haven for pollinators—and a beautiful one, too.

That’s why we’re joining Plantlife’s No Mow May campaign again this year—and we’re inviting you to take part too!
